Marc Lamoureux as support staff for the advanced computer centre has many responsibilities. His tasks range from purchasing, repairing electronic and computer equipment, to administrating the LAN. With all these tasks, he gladly goes beyond the call of duty. He was a key player in the introduction of the new advanced computer centre, from implementation to design. He also does part-time teaching and assists faculty members in a variety of courses.

     Marc is obviously a supporter of St. Lawrence College, Cornwall. He is a graduate of St. Lawrence College in the Electronics Engineering Technology Program. Upon his graduation, Marc began working at St. Lawrence College in the Electronics Engineering Department. Marc explains his positive view of St. Lawrence College, “The faculty and support staff are dynamic, we have a good rapport and we complement each other really well.” Marc further explains “St. Lawrence College has very good programs, and you are almost guaranteed a job after graduation.”

     Sports play an important part in Marc’s life. He enjoys playing soccer, and volleyball. He is also a first degree black belt in karate. With his background in this sport, he teaches some karate classes.
